Universal Scanner is an advanced QR code and barcode scanner. Bundled within the app are 3 state of the art scan technologies leveraging the power of ZBar, ShopSavvy, and ZXing.

Scanning is easy; just point at any QR code or barcode, and Universal Scanner will do the rest. It scans QR codes, CODE-128, CODE-93, CODE-39, I2/5 (ITF), DataBar, EAN-13, EAN-8, EAN-5, EAN-2, UPC-A, UPC-E, ISBN-13, and ISBN-10 barcodes.

Universal Scanner supports continuous scanning as well as scanning images from the camera roll.

There is a built in search feature. Once a barcode is scanned, a page pops up with a list of prices and stores that have the product. When a QR code is scanned, the appropriate iOS action is taken.

The built in QR code generator supports creating codes for contacts, emails, locations, phone numbers, SMS messages, text, URLs, and WiFi. Share these with friends or save them to the camera roll for later use.
